PhotoLUX is a third generation pediatric phototherapy unit, which is used to reduce the Bilirubin count in neonate jaundice. The unit has the Blue/green LED strategically placed on the unit with a wavelength of 465~520 nm. The unit is of high quality acrylic plastic/powder coated Aluminum.

The unit is highly safe for the neonate and is absolutely safe for the baby as there is no need to cover up the eyes of the baby with a dark cloth. It has a unique feature of the integrated baby tray.

The unit has the unique advantage that the irradiance of the Blue/Green light being about 30~35 µW/cm2/nm* as the unit being very close to the neonate.
